Sky Become Extra on my Smart TV?

I've got a smart LG 4K Tv set which has the NOWTV app built-in, only in that location doesn't seem to be a Sky Go app.

I'm presuming there is no style to use the NOW Goggle box app to watch my Sky subscription content??

Likewise, is there any tertiary party device that I could buy to plug into my TV to watch Sky Get?
I've got an old laptop with a working Heaven Go, simply it'southward old & doesn't stream well via HDMI.

  • Android devices have screen mirroring turned off, so you lot tin't utilise one of them, not certain nigh a stand lone android box, but probably non either.

Either a newer PC would do, and I think xbox one & PS4 has Heaven Go on information technology, not certain about all the channels though, when used on the same network, as i haven't tried it (bold you take SkyQ where all channels are available on the aforementioned network when using phone/tablet/laptop).

  • Is in that location something a flake smaller that could be plugged into the TV discreetly, i.e. a Roku or similar?

Likewise, what about the NOW TV app?

Also, what about the NOW Television set app?

Now Television receiver is a completely separate service, nothing to do with the main Sky, so they tin can't be linked in whatsoever mode.

Heaven Go is only available on mobiles, tablets, PC and select games consoles.

Also worth noting Sky Become doesn't have admission to all channels and content as you find on your Heaven+Hd box, only guess yous know that as yous've already had it working on your laptop.

I would say that device is seriously underpowered for sky go I've been running mine on an eighth gen i5 quad-core laptop with hyperthreading and it can still exist a resources hog at times with utilisation betwixt 50% and threescore%, an old cantlet-based bit like the x5-Z8350 as no gamble of running information technology

I wouldn't run it on that, as I said to a higher place, I would simply buy a inexpensive PS3 for most £twoscore, but the OP want;s something else!

  • The Sky Become app should be on
Amazon, Apple tree, Roku & the Heaven owned Now Telly devices at a minimum.

  • I now know it'southward not on Roku, but not sure aout the others?

It'south on none of those devices,
and most if not all Smart TVs.

    That's the bespeak,
Sky hope and don't or rarely deliver.
On the same twenty-four hours they driblet iPlayer which was quite a surprise.

Information technology's on none of those devices,
and about if not all Smart TVs.

As usual, DanSky+HD is confusing matters past expressing his personal preferences rather than stating what's actually available.

Sky Go on PC, Mac (and obviously Xbox & Ps4) can be connected to a Boob tube.
However if yous go for Q and Q Experience, you get far more channels via either a mini box or the PC/Mac app when at dwelling house. You also get the power to stream all your recordings.

  • The Sky Go app should exist on
Amazon, Apple tree, Roku & the Sky owned At present TV devices at a minimum.

.... and require a multiscreen subscription to activate!?!

I would have idea that goes without saying, simply Yeah.
Isn't that how it currently works?

Sky Become Extra is an extra subscription... which is free depending on VIP level.

Only... if Heaven Get was available on main screens information technology should go dependent on a multiscreen subscription!?!
